We coordinate job shadowing experiences for high school and college students who want firsthand healthcare experience. We can set up shadowing experiences with physicians, physician assistants, registered nurses, pharmacists, dietitians or public health professionals.
Job shadows will be reviewed before acceptance. All job shadow students must complete a required orientation and onboarding prior to starting hours. Please know that some shadow opportunities will be limited based on availability.
This internship provides students with firsthand experience of working with the Special Supplemental Program for WIC (Women, Infants, and Children). Students gain knowledge in nutrition and breastfeeding education, as well as an understanding of the food benefits associated with WIC. Summer interns work closely with the WIC Farmers Market Nutrition Program.
This internship is designed for college students who are completing this work for course credit. Some exceptions may apply.
The intern will work with staff and Healthy By Design Coalition members to improve the health of Yellowstone County. Projects focus on prevention and education and includes work on the Gardeners’ Market.
The intern will be involved in work with RiverStone Health’s Health Promotion Division on issues such as physical activity, nutrition, tobacco prevention, suicide prevention and chronic disease prevention. Tasks will be determined closer to internship start date based on project need and student interest and goals.
