My work has allowed me to experience children growing and developing and helping families through injuries and illness, often some of the scariest times of their lives – it has all been a true privilege. I have also watched as the healthcare industry has changed: costs are rising, coverage is shrinking and trust in the system has faltered. RiverStone Health stands tall as a vital and unique resource for the most vulnerable, so ensuring that it remains strong is crucial to our overall community wellness.

RiverStone Health has led our community in assuring care for all regardless of their ability to pay for over three decades; I am honored to add my voice and efforts to the RiverStone Health Foundation board as we work to ensure that needs are met today and for years to come. My commitment as a board member is to assure that each and every donation be spent wisely in the hope that our patients and community continue to benefit from the vast services of this terrific organization. One of my core beliefs is that healthcare is a basic human right; RiverStone Health lives up to this challenge every day – I am grateful to be able to play a small part in delivering on that commitment.
