Volunteers

Volunteers are unpaid, but priceless
to RiverStone Health.

Our dedicated volunteers provide invaluable support to our patients and their families. They fill gaps between the care a patient’s loved ones can give and the help offered by healthcare professionals.

What volunteers can do:

Make an impact, volunteer to HELP

RiverStone Health volunteers are at the heart of our organization.

In today’s fast-paced world, it can be easy to get caught up in our own lives and forget about the needs of others. Our volunteers have selflessly prioritized giving their time, energy, talents and skills to support the work of RiverStone Health and for that, we are truly grateful.

Our volunteers’ generosity of time and effort makes a significant impact on RiverStone Health and the people that we serve.

RiverStone Health values the staff-volunteer partnership. Together we improve life, health and safety by leveraging expertise and shared passion. Together, we have a greater impact.

You can make a difference, even if you are available for just an hour or two a week.

We seek volunteers who are patient and compassionate listeners and who respect the beliefs of others. All RiverStone Health Hospice Services volunteers receive extensive free training to learn about hospice philosophy, confidentiality, preserving dignity and more.

We make every effort to pair veterans as companions to veterans in hospice through the We Honor Veterans project. As such, we have a special need for military veteran volunteers.
