Life before medicine: I spent time working as a nursing assistant at a critical access hospital and level 2 emergency department, completed a graduate certificate in public
health through the University of North Dakota, and enjoyed volunteering as a ski patroller

Why I chose MFMR: I chose MFMR due to my prior connections to the state and the program’s focus on caring for underserved populations, rural opportunities, and wilderness medicine training; All while being close to family and friends in both Montana and neighboring North Dakota. I look forward to reconnecting with and caring for the people and places of Montana.
