At RiverStone Health, you are the center of our service, safety and care

Health, Education, Leadership and Protection (HELP) have been the foundation of our work for more than 40 years. We stand committed to the values of Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (JEDI) by cultivating an environment that protects and acknowledges the unique identities within our diverse community.

Fulfilling Our Mission

Our mission is to improve life, health and safety. By actively engaging in community health initiatives, issues and concerns, we combine the strength of government with the power of vision in an entrepreneurial model that transforms how we think of public health.

  • Our History – RiverStone Health was created in 2008 as a single identity and umbrella organization to reflect all our services. We grew out of the Yellowstone City-County Health Department, which began providing public health services to our community in 1974.
  • Board of Health
  • Leadership Team

Justice. Equity. Diversity. Inclusion.

RiverStone Health’s compassionate commitment to serving the whole person is embedded throughout the organization.

We commit to treating all people with dignity and respect. We recognize and acknowledge that historical and disproportionate injustices in our nation create unacceptable inequity and that as a society we have not demonstrated our founding principle that all people are equal.

We, therefore, commit ourselves to fostering an atmosphere that respects the individual, working to ensure that not only our words but also our actions reflect our values.

We commit to fostering a sense of belonging by providing services and resources to improve the life, health, and safety of our community.

We believe that what makes us different makes us stronger. We are committed to the values of Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (JEDI) We are cultivating an environment that protects and acknowledges the unique identities within our diverse community.

We foster understanding and recognize our individual differences of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, age, physical abilities, religious beliefs and political beliefs. We strive to move beyond simple tolerance to embracing and celebrating the diversity of our patients, customers, coworkers and volunteers.
