Life before medicine:I worked as a server for six years at Longhorn Steakhouse. I initially started out hosting, but worked my way up and ended up training all of the new hires before my departure in 2020. I loved being in a fast-paced environment that was heavily team-focused. I had a second job during this time where I worked as an anatomy TA at USF MCOM. I have always loved anatomy and being able to apply it through medical school and now residency excites me! I am the middle child of three, and I am the first doctor in my family.
Favorite music: Folk, indie, alternative, pop and dance music, Irish music
Favorite movies: Lord of the Rings (all of them), Stardust, Kill Bill I, The Hateful Eight
Why I chose MFMR: I love the idea of being able to practice full-scope medicine in a rural area, and this program offers that unlike any that I have come across.
