Volunteers are unpaid, but priceless
to RiverStone Health Hospice Services.

Our dedicated volunteers provide invaluable support to our patients and their families. They fill gaps between the care a patient’s loved ones can give and the help offered by healthcare professionals.

You can make a difference, even if you are available for just an hour or two a week.

We seek volunteers who are patient and compassionate listeners and who respect the beliefs of others. All RiverStone Health Hospice Services volunteers receive extensive free training to learn about hospice philosophy, confidentiality, preserving dignity, and more.

What volunteers can do:

Office support
Bereavement support
Vigil at our Hospice House
Veterans support
Socializing with patients
Shopping
Respite care
Help with fundraising and special events
Make deliveries
Provide music
Decorating, gardening and cooking at our Hospice House
Special requests (massage, pet therapy, notary, language services, haircuts, manicures, sewing, etc.)
