Grief is a natural reaction to loss, but each of us experiences it differently. A caring person and listening ear can make all the difference.
BraveHearts is a free 8-week program for bereaved children and their caregivers. BraveHearts is designed for children in grades 1-8 who are grieving the loss of a beloved family member.
Our goal is to help children cope with loss and find healing.
BraveHearts is free of charge, and enrollment is limited to 12 children.
RiverStone Health Hospice social workers trained and experienced in bereavement support will lead BraveHearts. They will engage in activities that help them explore and express their thoughts and feelings as well as remember and cherish special memories through art, play and sharing.
