KidsFirst

Ensuring children entering the foster care system are connected with medical and specialty services.

The initiative was formed in 2016 as a partnership between RiverStone Health and Child & Family Services. It serves infants and children from and placed in Yellowstone County.

KidsFirst nurses meet with the child’s caregivers to assess and schedule medical and dental appointments. They can also address any of the child’s other needs. Our nurses also focus on child development and connecting families and children to community resources.
