Events

RiverStone Health Foundation hosts three major community events each year in support of RiverStone Health services.

  • The Hospice Golf Tournament supports RiverStone Health Hospice Services. Tournament proceeds offset the cost of providing end-of-life care, regardless of our patient’s financial situation. Last year, RiverStone Health Hospice cared for hundreds of patients, with 1/3 of those receiving financial assistance.  As the first hospice provider in Yellowstone County, RiverStone Health, formerly Big Sky Hospice, has been caring for patients since 1980. We are the most experienced provider of hospice care in the region and the first to be nationally accredited, assuring compliance with the highest standards of care for the terminally ill and their loved ones.
  • Join us for the Scrub Run, our 5K fun-run promoting the importance of physical activity to overall health. Participants join in the fun by wearing scrubs on their journey through south Billings and celebrating at the family-friendly post-party in South Park.  The Scrub Run makes it possible to give every child who visits RiverStone Health a book. Together, we promote literacy and school readiness at the Scrub Run!
  • In remembering our loved ones, and reconnecting with those who cared for them, we heal.  Hospice Tree of Lights is a celebration of life that helps loved ones through the grief journey.  Since 1991, Hospice Tree of Lights not only helps families heal, it ensures compassionate caregivers and vital program needs. The non-denominational ceremony includes an invocation, individuals remembered, and tree lighting on the RiverStone Health campus.
