In existence since 2008, the RiverStone Health Foundation is making an impact in the community. Our successes include:
- A successful capital campaign led to construction in 2011 of the $2.5 million, 8,400 square foot RiverStone Health Hospice Home on Billings’ West End. The home’s 12 private bedroom suites provide terminally ill patients and their families a home-like alternative, but with the level of care commonly associated with a hospital. The home allowed RiverStone Health Hospice Services to expand the existing continuum of care to include intensive, around-the-clock symptom management.
- Since 2012, RiverStone Health Foundation has received $340,000 from the Earl and Bessie Whedon Cancer Detection Foundation of Sheridan, Wyo., to support colorectal screening. Through their generous grant awards, we have screened 2,856 patients and offered 237 follow-up colonoscopies.
- More than 200 runners and walkers signed up for RiverStone Health Foundation’s 2016 5k Run for Health. All children who competed in the free children’s run around South Park took home a prize.
- In 2017, over 160 staff contributed nearly $46,000 to the RiverStone Health Foundation’s annual HELP fund, allowing us to launch the CPR Fund (Customer Patient Relief), for the unexpected healthcare-related needs our clients experience.
