Asking for help:
Hospice care may be appropriate if the focus is on comfort through pain control and symptom management rather than a cure. This shift in focus is important for the patient, family and physician to agree upon and understand. RiverStone Health Hospice Services may be requested by:
- Healthcare providers and physicians
- The individual in need of services
- Family members
- Community members
- Service agency representatives
- Hospital discharge planners
