The caring professionals of RiverStone Health Hospice Services include:
- Hospice Medical Director
- Registered nurses who are trained in hospice care and experts in pain control and symptom management
- Licensed practical nurses who know how to provide expert care
- Physical and occupational therapists may be asked to evaluate the patient’s movement, strength, or ability to do normal daily activities or use adaptive equipment
- Hospice aides who assist with daily life activities and personal care
- Social workers who help patients find the resources and assist with advanced directives
- Chaplains who offer emotional support and spiritual guidance
- Volunteers who provide companionship during friendly visits, or offer respite to caregivers
