AHEC Job Shadowing
More than 200 students each year gain healthcare experience through the Eastern Montana Area Health Education Center (AHEC) at RiverStone Health. We coordinate job shadowing experiences for high school students and college students who want first-hand healthcare experience. We can set up a shadowing experience with physicians, physician assistants, registered nurses, pharmacists or public health professionals. We also assist in planning medical, dental or pharmacy rotations for students in healthcare professions.
Limited job shadows are currently being accepted as able. Students that are accepted will get up to 20 hours. Shadow students are limited in clinic, so please be patient as we schedule students in. Job Shadows are subject to change and/or cancelation due to COVID-19.
Job shadow participants must complete HIPAA (privacy) training and participate in an orientation session prior to job shadowing. If you are interested in a job shadowing experience, please complete an application and submit it to: ahec@riverstonehealth.org
