RiverStone Health’s Healthcare for the Homeless service provides medical services for people experiencing homelessness and connects them to the care they need. Healthcare for the Homeless typically serves homeless adults and families who stay in emergency shelters, sleep in makeshift shelters or on the streets, in hotels, temporarily live with friends or family members, eat in soup kitchens or visit drop-in centers. We also connect individuals to services such as other specialty care, housing, food, and clothing through local service agencies.

In 2019, Healthcare for the Homeless served 2,028 patients.

In addition to seeing patients at our location at 2424 1st Ave North, we offer an outreach clinic at St Vincent de Paul. Healthcare for the Homeless services are also offered at our primary Clinic site at 123 South 27th Street. No appointment for outreach clinics is necessary during outreach clinic hours.

RiverStone Health Clinic receives Federal Health and Human Services funding and has Federal Public Health status with respect to certain health or health-related claims, including medical malpractice claims for itself and its covered individuals.
