RiverStone Health Hospice Services cares for terminally ill patients who are not seeking curative or diagnostic treatment, and instead elect to receive comfort-oriented care which neither hastens death, nor prolongs life. We provide hospice services to patients in Yellowstone, Stillwater and Musselshell counties.
RiverStone Health Hospice Services is the only hospice provider in Montana nationally accredited by the prestigious Community Health Accreditation Program (CHAP), assuring we abide by the highest standards and provide quality compassionate care.
We provide care and grief support services wherever home is. Working together with patient and family, our team of hospice professionals and volunteers help relieve physical symptoms and decrease psychological, social, emotional, or spiritual distress of patients and their caregivers.
If remaining at home is not possible, we offer two peaceful and comforting hospice homes. The 12-bed RiverStone Health Hospice Home, built in 2011, is located on the campus of St. John's Lutheran Ministries. The only one of its kind in our area, the home was designed to offer an alternative to hospital care for inpatient needs. The 7-bed Horizon Hospice Home is located in a quiet neighborhood in the Billings heights and is the only licensed residential hospice home in Yellowstone County. Both homes are staffed 24 hours a day 7 days a week with caring and compassionate hospice professionals.
